This fic was so well timed, I can't tell you! I'm pissed off as hell cos of stuff going on in British politics, but, when I saw you'd posted, I smiled for the first time in hours - and you made everything better!

This was utterly brilliant and my jaws ache from grinning all the way through.

The conversation between Spock and McCoy at the beginning was fucking brilliant and your Spock voice had me giggling. I loved this exchange in particular:

“It would hardly be in my interest to construct a strategy based on falsehoods,” Spock notes. “And this conversation would proceed more quickly were you to curb your habitual use of redundant human idioms.”

McCoy rolls his eyes. “This conversation would proceed more quickly if you’d stop using three times as many words as you need to make your goddamn point, but you don’t see me holding my breath, now do you?” - lol

And I absolutely adored how McCoy physically controlled his emotions. I love stuff like that and he so would! And his working through what he was going to do was so wittily done:

On the other hand, it would likely result in McCoy’s own slow and painful death by statistical syllogism.

My only criticism is that it was too bloody short! A sequel - I beg you!

Thanks!

I'm so glad this came at the right moment for you, bb! You deserve to smile.

After sitting through a painful logic class last year, I couldn't resist a few logic jokes...

I am definitely considering a sequel.
