na na na na you say it's your birthday
Ted reminded me it was my birthday.
This is kind of disappointing. I don't know why I get sad whenever a birthday rolls around now; last year I think it was because I was making the big leap into maturity, at least in a legal sense. This year I think it's just that this seems like such a pointless birthday, outside of the reminder that I have one year left until I'm 20, and well, at that point, childhood's over.
I'm kind of happy about it, though. I do like the idea of actually being a credible adult, but I feel that I haven't set myself up for much to really justify the status. I'm still young, I've still got a ways to go.
Just have to keep my plans aloft.
