What to say when you’re done
Hey. There’s something I need to say. For real this time. There is nothing funny after this.
This needs to be done. Whatever this is. You and I both know it’s unhealthy.
You love her, have no intention to hurt her, and will never leave her. You don’t want to fuck that up. It’s that simple.
And I put myself in a position that can only hurt me. So desperate to be chosen that I let myself become entertainment. That’s fucked up, and I need to quit doing that.
I don’t blame you for that. That’s on me mostly. You’ve got some things you’re not getting from her and it’s easy to find those things with someone broken like me.
I truly hope you and her can work it out and both be happy and fulfilled in your relationship. I don’t want any part in fucking that up.
Thank you for being my friend and keeping me company when I was going through all the bullshit. For a time you made me feel like I was all right.
