003 - With permission from BLU Sniper's player

[Anyone walking past 1247 Williams on Tuesday will see not one, but two figures up on top of the house, each of them setting up a handmade flag on opposite sides of the roof.  Natu is putting up the first flag, and Sniper is putting up the second.  Feel free to post here and talk to either of them to see what they're up to.]

Putting up a flag.

This is the symbol of the Green Lantern Corps, an interplanetary police force that I belong to back home. While I don't have any of my weapons here with me, this symbol alone gives me a sense of renewed purpose when I look at it. And even though I may be weaponless and without my friends or allies from the Corps, this is my way of saying to the town that I intend to protect the people who are trapped here all the same.

[Would try to wave and tease him, but did not need him burning down his fake wife's flag too. Not sure what she'd do and he was not about to brake the truce over something so simple.

[And so it was a standoff! Sniper had the same opinion as Soldier... so instead played at not noticing the man was still there.

He wondered if enough kids put up BLU flags if Soldier would still hold his temper.]

[RED Spy sees the flags going up and scowls. He walks up to stand on Sniper's lawn (get off the grass, damn Spy!) and smokes his cigarette in a standoffish fashion.]

What is zhis? Some new bid at territory control?

[And then he notices the woman. And her flag. And it's green. New team? Good god.]

"...Who are all of these men dressed in red that keep scowling at us? Enemies of yours?"

[Spy snorts and flicks the end of his cigarette to get rid of some ash.]

Enemy? I think 'nemesis' is a more appropriate term, Madame.

[Nemesis. Now there's a term she's familiar with. Her eyes narrow as she looks back at the man.]
