I GOT YOU ALL IN CHECK
My my... the faces of evil are many. I have discovered recently the relationship that my heart and mind share. No, that is not a metaphor. I really have. And I can summarize with this: your brain is your best friend. If you really think about it... there is no way around it. I am not going to bother to explain myself. I know it is right for me personally, and it is so exemplified through all of the experiences I have had since my last entry.
Life is easy when lived backwards in time. The trick is that we are living forwards in time. (p.s.- that is something your heart would never tell you.)
There are so many things that have caused me to develop and change recently. I have been overloaded with things that I never thought I could handle, yet I did. There are situations that I would have run from that I stood up to. There are responsibilities that I have placed on my back so others can feel better about themselves as the people they are, not what they feel they should be. I have opened to people I never would have opened to. There are people who I have shut out that I never imagined I would be so utterly dissappointed in. There are people who you are close with that you will never part.
I used to view being overlooked (dating wise) as a curse, and now I know that it is a blessing.
There are always friends. There are always family.
And there will always be the Brighton House Family - the most wonderful group of people I have ever became close with. We are the weirdest and most political bunch of friends, and we love it.
My heart is with you all, and I know yours is with mine.
