30 Rock Series Finale
Normally, after a series finale, I've come to LiveJournal to write up my thoughts about how a show ended.
With 30 Rock, I don't even know what to write, but I thought they really nailed it with the finale.
They ended each relationship well (and surprise declarations of a love, whatever that might be, between Jack and Liz), gave them chances to have it all, kept everyone in character, had a sweet and charming ending, and pulled the ole snow globe trick in the tag in the best way possible.
My friend, Krysti, called me after it was over and I was so glad she did when she did because I was about to lose it. Some people might think it's silly to get emotional over a TV sitcom, but I've never felt so personally connected to a character like I have with Liz Lemon and to see her story wrap up was so bittersweet.
Above everything, I'm thankful to Tina Fey, NBC, Lorne Michaels, and the entire cast and crew of 30 Rock for existing and creating such a love letter to Television.
