A Chloisy Encounter with Michael Rosenbaum
As chiri_chan teased in her LJ, Michael Rosenbaum and I talked a little Chlois Theory :)
Saturday at DragonCon, I wore my Team Chlois t-shirt that chiri_chan designed.
It was the only one we were able to sell off of www.cafepress.com that had Allison Mack's likeness on it because at some point, they caught us on doing that and told us not to anymore. Long story short, I had a version with AM's likeness of Chloe and Chlois with the Team Chlois slogan and was wearing it on Saturday, which is probably the biggest day of the Con.
After going to MR's panel, I went over to the Walk of Fame area to get him to sign my Lex Luthor: Man of Steel #1 comic. When I got up to where he was, I handed him my comic and he was all "wow, this is cool" and I said something about how it was one of my favorite comic stories and then this happened (and I'm paraphrasing because to be honest, I don't remember exactly down to the word)...
MR: Team Chlois? What is that?
Me: You ever hear of the Chlois Theory?
MR: Yeah [nods head a little and signs my two items.]
Me: So, do you think it could happen? That Chloe could be Lois? I know a lot of people poo-poo the idea...
MR: I don't know?...I honestly, don't know [he smiles a little because he really doesn't know.].
Yes, I said "poo-poo" to Michael Rosenbaum and I'm a complete loser for it :) But, he seemed to like Chi's shirt (I think the likeness to Allison Mack drew his attention to it) and was actually cool about Chlois, instead of outright turning it down.
I found him to be a good guy who really respects his fans and is, in a lot of ways, a fanboy, himself.
