well, i'm not sure exactly why i'm updating because i really have nothing to say. but i guess i should let y'all know that i got to australia okay. wanna hear a rundown? if so, read on. if not, stop here. :)
basically i've travelled to ballarat, australia with two of my nursing commrades, rachel and stephanie. (sidenote: the word "commrades" always makes me think of the USSR's military.) around the time i walked into the columbus airport, my voice started to go. and it hurt a bit. and i coughed some. it's actually just now coming back this morning. (sidenote: we are 14 hours ahead of you here... so it's around 11 am on thursday the 12th here and 9 pm on wednesday the 11th in ohio... this makes calling people rather difficult. and the fact that i don't have a phone as of yet. but i mean, i hate the phone (holla, kelly young!), so it works out. (except that my mom LOVES the phone and would really like frequent updates. but don't worry, i got to make a free call or two so she knows i'm okay.))

anyway, today i'm feeling better, but have been lightheaded for the past four hours. my blood pressure tends to run low (80s over 50s-60s), so it's probably just lower than usual, right? who knows. if i knew where the hospital was i'd just check it out myself. hmm, what else?
oh yes. before i left i had an epiphany... i mean, Jesus really opened my eyes to why i never feel like myself anymore (read: for the past two years? at least one year...) so that's pretty rad. He's giving me my joy back. praise God for joy, y'all!!! it's funny, i THOUGHT i had joy, but it's so clear to me now that satan had been pulling the wool over my eyes. he's a clever one, i'll tell you what.
