Hey guys, don't burn a flag, because congress just spent a week of its time making that illegal.
I mean, with all the shit in the world going on, we need to worry about that and spend a week in congress making it truely illegal. seems like most flag burning happens overseas, not so much here, and we sure can do a lot about that (because we're america, we can do anything, right?).
wow, a republican led senate sure can pass about anything it wants.
I stole this from jon stewart
"isn't the traditional way of disposing of an american flag to burn it?, well wait, i know it is. So i guess if the republicans will want to keep damaged american flags alive they'll have to put them on feeding tubes like other things that are alive, but non-functional."
if you don't get that, then all i can say is woah.
I know a lot of people are probably like 'why is he posting this?', well, i'm just in awe how stupid our government is, and how much time is wasted in congress.
:EDIT:
I also forgot to mention that now, if walmart (or any other company, for that matter) decides they want the property you live on to build a store, they can apply to the government to have the city you live in forcefully evict you and sell your land to walmart or whatever company wants your property.
So i guess the government didn't just waste a week on making flag burning illegal, they took the time to make sure your home and land can be taken out from under you and given to the highest bidding company. MMM MMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMM, I love the government.
