What's a satellite?

Think of it like there's this large grimoire that holds this spell that's making sure all the journals are connected together in like-- the restricted section-- no... that's not quite vast enough-- Aha! the Ministry!

Well a Satellite is sort of like that. It's a humongous piece of technology that was shot into space so it could be a relay for other things like phones, computers, GPS, and the like. Well, a lot more than that but that explanation works. I think.
