Are your kids moving to a different school as well?

As for your daughter, I also had organization problems. What I found easiest was to have one binder with a section for each teacher, a homework section, and an 'other' section (calendars, parent forms, etc). I see many kids in middle schools that use numerous amounts of binders, and that just isn't very helpful :/

Yup new state so new school system and they will be in different schools. I tried to do the one binder thing last year in the old school but the teachers didn't like it and would not help us with it. They wouldn't even let the kids use a zipper notebook thing like a Trapper keeper or whatever they are called. Because they don't fit in the lockers right. *sigh* So we will see what the new schools are like and maybe I can do the one binder this year. So thanks for the tip that more than one is not very helpful.

Thank You, I'm trying to not get too stressed out and that is why I'm whining in my LJ so much so that I can get it out and over with. But knowing that so many are willing to listen helps make my day brighter.
Big Hugs to you
