Okami, music, books
{ The list }
Quick update. I'm planning on updating this every Sunday, as that's probably the day I will spend alone, catching up with things and doing homework and such. May come in handy to remember, in case you're interested :)
I gave Stella (ladygunblade ) her Okami back, finally! Okay, well, not really her Okami. I lost it somehow (I still have NO idea how that happened), so I bought a new one. I put the disc in Stel's box though.
I discovered a new band yesterday. It was when I was checking the release dates for The Time Traveler's Wife; a book I really adore and also the book I counted as my first on my 33 books-task. A short while ago, my dear friend Stella told me it was to be a motion picture, too. When I found that out I checked IMDB's release dates, but... No 'The Netherlands' to be found. I must've checked it 10 times at least. I was so upset I had to wait for the dvd to come out, not being able to see it on a big-ass screen in the cinema!
But yesterday, I looked again. Boy, was I happy! It's coming to our little country November 12th, yay! So, in my happiness, with Stel on my side (literally), I went to the official movie page, to let her hear the beautiful songs from the OST playing on the background (11 dollars on eBay omg!). When we did some more OST-research, she told me that Lifehouse, which has a song called Broken on the OST, also has other beautiful songs. Et voilà! New band added to my playlist, happy Sav. :3
Broken really is a beautiful song, but I don't really dare to really listen to it yet, 'cause it reminds me of The Time Traveler's Wife so much that it hurts. ^^' We are so going to cry in that cinema XD
On another note (well, sort of), I finished The Night Listener by Armistead Maupin yesterday. I really liked the book, but the ending not very much so. I don't really like open endings, which the book has. Spoiler: I just want confirmation that Pete exists, damnit!
Hmm, this quick update turned out to be not as short as I imagined XD Sorry for misleading you, I didn't know myself, lol.
Until next Sunday! I need to start working on my drawings for school now. Hehehehehe. OTL
