"Veronica, it's Sarah," Sarah said, putting a smile in her voice even if she wasn't necessarily feeling it. "Are you in the middle of anything, or do you have a couple minutes to talk?"

"Nothing that can't wait," Veronica said. "What's up?"

She hoped it wasn't a mission. She was looking forward to spending a few days on the beach.

Well, it wouldn't ruin this weekend, anyhow ...

"My mission is being tweaked," Sarah explained. "I'm teaching at the high school this summer, and the CIA wants to know if you could spend a few months out here teaching and working on your training."

"That was the upshot of what my command had to say," Sarah said. "You teach, you look for students who might have potential, and I give you some additional training. Plus, you'd be closer to Langley for trainign from that side. Are you interested?"

Veronica laughed. "Not too bad, I guess. Guess I'll be doing some studying up this weekend on the beach."

"Bring sunblock and number 2 pencils," Sarah suggested, with a grin. "You've taught before. I'm sure you'll do great."

"Yeah, it'll be weird though," Veronica said. "But it should be fun."

"I hope so, at least," Sarah said. "How's everything else? You said you were going to the beach."

"Yup, going to celebrate the end of the semester," Veronica said. "We didn't realize it was graduation weekend or I'd be heading out there."

"I'll probably go to the ceremony," Sarah decided. "But I don't have the beach as an option. Have a great time."

"Thanks, it should be fun," Veronica said. "I feel bad though. One of my good friends is finally graduating and I'm missing it."

"Cindy MacKenzie?" Sarah asked. "I ran into her a few times. She seems like a really smart girl."
