Yup, that's me. I do have a two year old (who is now 2 1/2) so getting on the computer means either having the toddler on my lap eventually playing with the mouse and pressing keys while naming the letters or hearing a little voice calling from down the stairs "Momma? Momma, you up there?" Yesterday it was more like a demand- "Momma! COME DOWN! I have to go pee-pee." My husband was already downstairs. He just wanted Momma to take him to pee.
So anyways, we are having number 2 now. I don't remember if I had officially announced it here. I have been writing mainly in my other journal and in the birth month community I belong to through helena_mae, which is my baby/kid journal. Even this poor baby is already experiencing second child syndrome like my brother and sister did. The writing in the journal is less, the writing in the baby book is less, the pictures are fewer, even the pictures of my belly are fewer. With Ian, when I had no two year old bouncing on my lap, I wrote pages and pages. I even made a pregnancy section of his scrapbook while we were waiting for him to arrive.
I am nearly 20 weeks now. Exciting. We are not finding out the gender. I have one girl name picked out and one boy name so far. We have not even talked about names and we also keep the name a surprise to our families to make it even more surprising and exciting. Plus that way we avoid hearing everyone's unwanted opinions on what they think of our name choices.
We had a very nice holiday and took the extra Friday off together after New Years. We went to the mall just to walk around because I wanted the exercise and Ian needed a haircut. It was a good thing we went yesterday because today Brian seems to have caught Ian's cold. Lucky for him I already made homemade chicken soup on Wednesday so that should fix him right up.
