[The feed clicks on. This looks like it has 'big fight' written all over it, according to Thundara, and her trainer's a Big Hero, so OF COURSE SHE'S SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE IT BROADCASTS.

You smell the fail already, don't you?

Especially because he's facing off against two angry Bulbasaur (AKA GRASS TYPE, and close to level 20), and of the water, stone, and electric Pokemon, the electric one's got the camera. Isn't it totally awesome that Snow hasn't learned hardly anything about type weaknesses yet? ...Yeah, this is gonna be beautiful.

So yeah, you've got an Onix and a Gyarados facing off against two little bitty dinosaurs with wtf growths. 'What could go wrong?' says Snow.]

Rocky, hit 'em with Rock Tomb!

[You hear a rumble and an alarmed 'Bulba!' or two as the attack takes effect, but when the dust quickly clears, both opponents seem very much intact.]

What the-...

Bulba... saur!

[Many, many sharp leaves slice toward poor Rocky, who lets out a roar. Somehow, his stone self is very much affected by this moderately weak-looking onslaught.]

C'mon, buddy! They're just leaves! [But hey, if Rocky's hurting, he's hurting.] Back off, Rocky. Bob, Bite 'em!

[The Gyarados lets out a deep 'GYARAAAA!' of a roar, and he tosses his head, then turns his glare on Snow.

Snow's eyes widen a little.] What, you're not gonna fight?! [He spreads his arms out to the sides now.] C'mon! We'll work this out, man, but here is not the place- [And past the Gyarados, you see one of their matching opponents leap forward a step or two, a pair of vines snaking out from around its bulb to lash viciously at the stubborn Gyarados. He roars in a pained fashion, much like Rocky did, and now he uses Bite, but most definitely of his own accord.

Because even when the move's done, he doesn't stop Biting.

Snow jogs forward a few steps, looking worried.]

Hey, knock it off. You're gonna hurt it for real if you keep-

BULBAAAA!

[At that moment, the free Bulbasaur leaps forward and starts lashing at the water dragon with its own vines. But actually, it was the bitten Bulbasaur that made the cry... As it released Poison Powder straight down the Gyarados's throat.

The Gyarados recoils with an almost horrified 'D-DOS!?', and it was shaking its head savagely, like somehow that could expel the poison ejected down his throat. And Snow's done messing around, closing the rest of the distance between himself and the Gyarados.]

Hey, calm down! I've got that Antidote stuff, just don't--

[And the wildly flailing Gyarados rams the side of his head straight into the oncoming Snow, sending him flying back like six or seven feet and onto his ass.

From behind Snow, there's a pained 'Oniiiix!' He shoots a glance over his shoulder, and the unbitten Bulbasaur's now Vine Whipping the already weakened Rocky.]

Rocky, use--!

[Oh, but he can't even finish that sentence, seeing how weak Rocky already is. The massive rock snake's got his head tilted away from the onslaught in almost a Defense Curl-ish fashion, and the rest of him's drooping pretty bad.

Snow's brow furrows as his gaze darts from Rocky to the still-flailing Gyarados, and his hand runs over the back of his head to clutch at the hair at the back of his neck, utterly at loss.

After a few seconds of having absolutely no idea what to do? He's hauling himself onto his feet, hastily checking all pockets for a Pokeball. Siezing it, he's throwing it, and Machamp is appearing, surveying the scene he's released into with alarm.]

Machamp, save our ass here.

[And for once, he actually sounds almost defeated. He's still kinda in shock at how fast things blew up--and not even from a trainer battle!

Then his gaze finally falls on the camera.]

Thundara, what are you--? Turn that off.

[And the feed cuts out.]

[The feed clicks back on after quite a while. It's Snow, or his forehead at least. He's sitting on a couch at the Pokemon Center, leaned forward so one elbow's resting on one of his knees (that's the hand that's holding the PokeGear out). The other hand's covering half of his face, more to rest his head and close his eyes for a minute than to express facepalm-esque feelings.

Then he's looking up at the camera, though he's not really lifting his head too far.]

They're smart and all, but when it comes down to it... They're all just animals, right?

*voice/video, location: pokemon center, probably gonna get yelled at, supposed to be a good leader, see snow fail, !ic, @archive, failed for real this time, actual serious time, displays deep retardation, location: azalea town, location: ilex forest
