[And with that, there's a click-- Heather's never been good at talking on the phone at the same time that she's running. But it doesn't take long for her to show up. Looking fairly disheveled, as usual. But is that any surprise? In any case, she takes a second to catch her breath before straightening up in a confident stance.]

Hffuh... hey! You ready? I'M ready!

If I weren't, I'd be holding a Magikarp. Seemed to scare you off when Light did. [He's teasing, and he'll be holding his arms straight out to the sides. Have at it, Heather.]

-- .... what. [... he knew about that? DAMMIT. Magikarp are freaky, okay?!] Hey, that only works when my rep isn't at stake! [She spread her arms expressively.] I'm not afraid of no fish.

[Unlike the last time they had their little encounter, it's not baking hot, so instead of half-heartedly twanging one of her stupid rubber gloves at him, she actually cracks her knuckles, and then springs forward to deliver a strike with a clenched fist. His face is kinda sorta out of reach so she goes for the gut instead. The girl's got a damn good punch, but it probably went without saying that it wouldn't be too effective.]

[As with any impact to his gut, he naturally curls just a little, but it's more reflex than anything. He's not gonna lie and say it didn't throb just a little, but it was no fifteen-foot-monster strike.] Hey, not bad.

[Cue slightly confused look. She wasn't expecting him to like, cry or anything, but at least do that 'surprised gasp' thing that most big confident dudes did when they got the wind knocked out of them by a shrimpy little girl.]

'Rock hard abs' count? [He flashes a grin. But all kidding aside:] In my world, you get smacked around by things that're tougher shit than you by far. You could give me your best shot, and if even that messed me up, I'd be screwed back home.

[Rock-hard is right. Heather made a sort of pained hissing noise, unclenching that fist and giving her aching hand a shake. It was like punching a turtle.]

... Hn. Tougher shit than me, huh?

[It was more or less the truth. Worlds varied and Silent Hill's monsters were of a more homegrown brand than magic-spewing, world-breaking kinds that people like Snow fought.]

[Heather's met plenty of things that were tougher than her, so while it's a LITTLE bit of an ego-breaker, it's not like it's anything new. Most of the battles she's fought weren't exactly won with her fists, anyway.]
