Dear Calum,

Apr 12, 2004 00:35

You are a dick. You think you're better than others when you are really just as bad. You in no way contribute to society, infact, in your pompous ignorance, you attempt to go against the will of the people. For some reason you think you deserve more than the average hard working man. You think you deserve a relatively simple and enjoyable life of little work and much play. You have decided music shall be your life, and now nothing else seems to matter enough to be awarded your precious attention. You have stopped trying to do things for the good of all people, defending your position with selfish explainations like "i contribute music". Except you dont play for other people, you play for your own personal enjoyment (and to some extent that of your fellow musicians--and you play bass, and could be easily replaced).
Slowly you are losing interest in school, a place which, although misplaces the morals and priorities of life, is the best chance you have for obtaining the lifestyle you have acquired while living with your hard working parents. You are spoiled, greedy, and most of all, extremely hipocritical. You always see fit to point out everyone else's flaws, when you are the one who needs re-adjusting. You say one thing and keep on doing the exact opposite. You talk about all the things kids do that bother you and then when you arent thinking you do just the same. Then you wonder why you dont have a girlfriend.
Once you realize all the things that you do wrong, you feel sorry for yourself and console yourself by telling all of your friends (which im doing here) who, doing as good friends do, try hard to make you feel better about yourself. Then you figure out that you were just overreacting and feel like an idiot.
Then repeat.

Sincerely,
Calum
