I sent out my application and sample work to the Chicago Portfolio School yesterday via overnight express. It was supposed to arrive today at noon, their time.
I just need to call now to set up my interview, hopefully for Monday May 1, since that's the only time my mom can go with me. Thank goodness my finals aren't until Wednesday.
I finished my commencement speech and turned the final draft in on Monday. Just need to be practicing it so that I don't forget my words in front of 7000 people. I'm actually quite excited about this. We're going to be doing a rehearsal the Thursday of finals week and then I'll do my thing on Friday May 5 at 330pm.
It's only a matter of weeks until the end if the semester, and only until August 3rd until my classes are officially over. It's been a long time to get to this point, and it still seems to feel like I moved into Rather hall only yesterday.
