[Background]
Marvel Wiki! [Personality]
One thing that anyone can tell about Steve right off the bat is that he's a very humble, self-sacrificing person. In the beginning of the movie, he has a strong passion to join the army during WWII, which he defends by saying that so many men are laying down their lives, he doesn't deserve to do anything less. Even after he has the serum, he doesn't become cocky or big headed. After he saved the almost 400 men from the HYDRA base, he doesn't rub it in Colonel Phillips' face and immediately offers himself up for discipline, as he had gone against orders to rescue the men in the first place. He doesn't make a big deal out of his rescue mission, either. When anyone complimented him and told him what a good job he did, he shrugged it off like it was nothing. He didn't even show up to the award ceremony in his honor, instead helping hunt down HYDRA, showing he would rather stop evil than take on fame and glory for himself. His self-sacrificial side was shown when he decided to crash Schmidt's plane, rather than let it reach it's goal of New York City. Steve didn't hesitate in his decision, knowing it was what he had to do. In his eyes, his life was much less important and he was willing to give it up if it meant protecting so many people.
Steve is a very stubborn individual. One such way this is shown is through his determination to get into the army. He tried five times to apply, lying on his application each time he did, even though it was illegal to do so. He also disobeyed orders from Colonel Phillips, having Howard and Peggy fly him into Austria so he could rescue the men captured by Schmidt. When he sets his mind to do something, he does not back down. When he was still small, he was constantly getting into fights with people. One such time was shown in the movie when a rude man was saying snide comments during a war preview before a movie. Steve told him to show some respect, and the guy beat him up in the alley outside. Steve isn't one to back down or run away, even when the guy is much bigger than him. He reasons this by saying if you start running, you'll never be able to stop, and that if you stand up to them, eventually they'll get bored.
Maybe it's because Steve was always picked on that makes him so relateable to other people. Once he was of equal size and people began to take him seriously, they followed him. He became a leader, and no one ever questioned him. He has a take charge personality, and will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. Even people that didn't know him followed him into battle, trusting his judgment. A handful of the same men that he freed readily joined him in battle again, becoming his team to take out the many HYDRA bases.
Steve's lack of experience with women leads to some very awkward moments for the male. He tells Peggy towards the beginning of the movie that the conversation they were having was probably the longest he ever had with a woman. He had never even danced with one before, pointing out that girls don't want to dance with the guy they could step on. The way he talks to women, especially Peggy, is exactly how he speaks with everyone else. He even slips up and calls her a 'beautiful dame' once. Steve is also extremely naive. Even though he's roughly 25, his lack of socialization with women, and possible the fact that he's an orphan, lead him to misunderstand situations easily. It takes him half the movie and Howard finally explaining to him that fondue was simply a food and didn't suggest anything else. Another time, a woman began blatantly flirting with him, and for a few moments, he didn't even realize it. When he finally did realize what she was doing, he clammed up, crossing his arms and leaning away from her. When it comes to Peggy, he gets needless jealous over her relationship with Howard. He was so worried there was something going on between the two of them, even though it was obvious she was sweet on him, not Howard.
[Abilities]
Steve was given a special serum developed to enhance what is on the 'inside'. As Dr. Erskine put it, the serum makes good great and bad worse. Seeing as Steve was weak, frail, tiny, and an overall good man, the serum boosted all the good in him, making him a Super Soldier. Not only was he boosted in size, but he became super strong, fast, etc. All his human functions were boosted to full potential. He's also great at hand to hand combat, as well a using his shield almost like a Frisbee weapon. Steve is an artist as well, and is pretty talented at sketching.
[Other important stuff]
Chris Evans is the man. Also, Steve is an awkward turtle.

[First Person]
- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
Yeah, I'd go home. I owe someone a date.
- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
A sentence describing myself? Well, I'm just a kid from Brooklyn.
- Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
Anyone else might say I'm a hero, but I don't agree. I was only able to do what I've done thanks to the serum, and it's what any good soldier would do. I was fighting to defend my country. The real heroes are the men that died in battle.
- You're asked to take someone out for a date. Do you agree? If so, describe what you would do. If not, tell why.
Is it...Peggy? [Because he doesn't want to go on a date with anyone else.]
If it's Peggy, I'd take her dancing. Don't know how to dance, but she's supposed to teach me.
- You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
If they want a fight, they'll get a fight. I won't run away.
- Do you prefer the city or living out in the country? Why?
I was born and raised in New York City. If I had a choice, I'd never live anywhere else.
[Third Person]
Peggy. The female plagued his thoughts as Steve sat in the lonely corner of the Tavern, a beer sitting in the table in front of him. He sighed, rubbing his forehead, trying to get her out of his mind. Nothing helped, not even alcohol. Not that he could get drunk, anyways. Another sigh escaped his lips as his hand fumbled into his pocket, pulling out his small compass. He popped it open, and there she was. The picture of Peggy he had clipped out of the paper still rested in its spot. As he stared at her, he couldn't help but smile. He missed her dearly. After what had happened just before the crash, he longed to see her again more than ever before.
The kiss. As he closed his eyes, he could almost feel her lips against his own. A knot formed in his stomach, and he found himself biting his lip, wishing more and more that he could return home. To go back and hold her in his arms, to swing her around to music, to play out his lack of ability to dance just a bit more than truth, if it meant getting to dance with her more.
Yet, even if he went back, he'd never see her again, would he? Tony told him about disappearing after the crash. How they never found the plane, never found him. Was he dead? If so, he didn't understand how he could be in Somarium. If this was a place of dreams, he had to be alive to be dreaming, right? The complex situation he was in bemused him, almost making his head hurt. He still didn't quite get how this place even worked. But here he was, in a strange world with Howard's son, and without Peggy. Without Peggy. The thought rung through his mind, and without even realizing it, a single tear rolled down his cheek.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] IT'S ALL MART'S FAULT. Also, I love Steve and I love Somarium, so I figured, why not send him here?
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Being active. Even though I sometimes fail at doing so myself, I think it's important to maintain a certain level of activity, otherwise the game isn't any fun.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] Already here!
[Any questions?] Don't think so!
