It is pretty clear to me that Kerry came out on top last night. Bush danced around the topics, gave unclear statements, and just kept saying, wrong place, wrong time, wrong war. Even some people I know who are serious Bush fans are saying he didnt do well. We had a debate about it in Model UN, me for Kerry and Ben Baker for Bush. Ben and I have very very different opinions on everything. He's very conservitive and I'm very liberal. It would usually be fun to have a debate like that but Ben doesnt make any statements. He drones on about god knows what, and nobody understands him. So when I go to answer I'm not exactly sure what i should be proving an opinion on b/c i have no clue what he said. It is so frustrating. I'm the only person for Kerry in that class (and probably in all my classes) so I want to make a good argument. And I dont like the term anti-bush, I dont hate bush, i just think Kerry is more suited for the job. Bush is always talking about his heart of hearts, while i think its great that he is moral and a christan and evrythng, you cannot lead a country on your heart of hearts. He also has little regard for the Bill of Rights with his constant mixing of church and state and lessening of human rights.
