The Royal Family: Week One

The very first thing I noticed when I came into Mariella's lot was this want - if you recall, she's involved with Cody Longshore, who happens to be best friends with Lance. Mariella spent half of the Longshore-Thatcher week visiting them and I never saw her do anything other than talk to Lance and act like platonic friends. Instead, she was all over Cody. Oh well, Romance Sims. Plus, this could cause some interesting drama...

Like I said - drama.

Lance decided to come check out Mariella's house - once Cody was gone, of course. These two don't even have chemistry together, they're just good friends!

Well, they didn't have chemistry before, but now Mariella has one bolt and I have a feeling that Lance has at least one. Crazy ACR, although it does make things interesting.

Mariella isn't satisified with just two boy toys, though - unfortunately for her, the other two men of Woodhaven are married or involved with someone, so she'll have to stick with just two until townies are officially unlocked.

Mariella soon learns that she may not be able to have the same lifestyle, though, when she throws up her organic dinner later that day.

Despite her two options, Mariella knew exactly who the father of her baby was - which could make for an interesting explanation to her boyfriend.
(Ignore the bad lighting - it was raining when I took this picture and there happened to be a flash of lightning every time I tried to take it)

Mariella wasn't able to keep her pregnancy a secret for long, though - when Lance came over the next day, she popped.

Despite the baby growing inside her, Mariella still manages to act like a child, finding fun in even the simplest of places.

And it turns out that Mariella, like her boyfriend, is a Tinkering-loving kind of Sim, and so we have another chance of earning electricity and water for the town through her, as long as Clayton becomes friends with one of them.

As the self-proclaimed hippie and nature lover of the bunch, Mariella gladly volunteered to grow the food source for the town (of course, all of the houses are equipped with small ponds in case the families are on the brink of starvation), and near the end of the week the first harvest was ready, which Mariella gladly collected.

Mariella even made friends with one of the local dogs, whose glowing eyes intrigued her.

Then, in the early hours of Monday morning, Mariella went into labor while alone.
(Technically the baby is born in the second week, but since I accidentally played the first couple of hours, I decided to stick these pictures in, even though I'm going to count this baby in second week births)

And thus Liam (Thatcher) Royal was born on Day 8!

That's it for the crazy Royal family this week. Next up is the final family, the Porters, who also have babies on their mind...
