One Year Later

Well, almost.

With Grad school and life in general becoming incredibly stressful and busy (jobs were lost, jobs were found, Newton's health went up and down...) I regret not being able to post here very often.

I do have some good news, and that is Newt is still going strong. She is still on the pills for her liver and recent blood work shows that the enzyme levels are down to a healthy level. With hope, she won't need to be on the medicine anymore, let alone need surgery.

To everyone who donated to Newt, my boyfriend Lowell and I thank you so much. With your help we were able to pay for her blood work and medication to keep her happy and healthy. With all this, she was able to be spayed like she was supposed to have been in the first place. Here are some updated pictures of our princess for you to enjoy.

Cuddling with our other cat, Doc.

Newt does seem to have a penchant for medical issues. Most recently she came down with a UTI but she is on antibiotics and a new diet so she should be fine.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone for helping me keep my cat safe and healthy.
