GatorFan over at the Numb3rs.org Fanrush Forums posted this and I thought I'd share it here since it is FINALLY a less than negative persepective on the fate of the show:

Right. Rant time... kes_cross March 14 2010, 12:18:47 UTC
I'm pissed. REALLY pissed. Not because we still have to wait several weeks to see the final episode of season six here in the UK, but because everyone seems to have just about 'given up' on trying to save the show. When the episode cut was first announced, everyone was up in arms, hollering and shouting from the rooftops about how we can't let this mean the end of Numb3rs. But as time has gone on, and particularly since the airing of the last S6 episode over in the States, it's been like a bloody wake around the boards! Seriously - I expect to hear sad organ music and people sniffling into hankies in the background every time I visit one of the forums! Perhaps I should explain a little more about why I'm so pissed, not so much with the possibility that N3 is over, but by the fandom's reaction ( ... )

Preaching to the choir here. I've left messages in the forum and my BFF left a comment to Rob's facebook page telling people to stop whining about the show being over and to do something about it! A lot of people have given up because David and Rob have new shows which they take to mean Numb3rs is 100% gone. But they neglected to read the fine print in those articles where it says David and Rob's first priority is Numb3rs so they will be back on the show if we get another season. I'm totally with you. I'm trying to make a big push for this write-in campaign. The only thing I haven't done is update Dylan's site, but I'm going to very soon.

*Sigh* I know, Candi, I know. You are one of the few people who has seemed to remain hopeful throughout, and it's nice to know that I'm not shouting in the void about this. I was feeling particularly pissy yesterday, and posted a 'rocket up yer arses' post on IMDb as well. The result was a couple of responses whining about how they weren't being negative (Yeah, with thread titles such as 'Farewell Numb3rs' and 'Why Numb3rs won't be renewed' - nah, that ain't negative, is it? Ooo, nope, not in the least! /sarcasm) The result has been me putting two fingers up to the lot of them and retiring from the IMDb board. Frankly, I have better things to do. And I thought us Brits were bad for just taking crap and not doing anything about it ( ... )
