Acknowlegdements! Army Daze

Jul 29, 2006 00:07

I would like to thank (in almost no particular order):

OUR OH-SO-GREAT DAOYAN LU YONGQUAN ("may he live forever") and our assistant director Yi Yong ("may he ascend to greater heights").

OUR FANTABULOUS AUDIENCE. Not sure about Saturday, but FRIDAY - YOU PEOPLE WERE FREAKY! (Sorry about the seats anyways, and the air-con.)
- TCN - Thanks Evelyn for the roses, and the sec ones for the badge!
- Lim Yu - Thanks lots and lots for the origami!
- Anastasia - Thanks for the Kinder Surprise (melted, but the toy's what's important)!
- Classmates - Terence, David, Jiachen and co.
- Other schoolmates and random assorted admirers
- (Yang Zi - Tomorrow!)

The great publicity team. Best in years, literally. How can we do without Rui An, I wonder. No-one to make video, no nice poster... gosh.

Props team. Yes, many screwups, but I understand it's the best we can do, because the wings were so messy, there was so much movement that had to be done, and there were simply too many props and people to manage. You were great. Especially the set and all, and rallying together for the final burst.

Costumes! Thanks Sam! And all the rest of the costumers for their great, quick, adept costume changes, without you the scene transitions wouldn't be so smooth. And, again, the performance was extremely good considering the chaos.

Lights and sounds! Clement! Han Chang! Joseph (hmph, the flybar guy doesn't deserve his own guild, okay)! Yi Ren! Perfect light cues, perfect sound at just the right volume (even though the house music, though at the correct volume, got totally drowned out).

Our three actresses! Gorgeous performances, considering you all have no prior experience to drama, you all are infinitely better than wonderful, acted very, very well!
- Sarah Chuting Joleen!

And, last but definitely NOT the least (the exact opposite, as a matter of fact):
Our teachers, MR CHNG AND MRS YONG! NOT JUST THREE CHEERS, BUT "TREE TOUSAND TREE HUNDRED AND TIRTY TREE!" All the nights you stayed for us, the effort you went through to procure props and costumes when it's our job, your help for finetuning the craft and basically doing everything we should be doing, thanks so much! The production wouldn't have left the on-paper stage if not for you.

(Though not all of the abovementioned will be reading this, kudos to all!)
