Haha. I've had that happen a couple times. Adults just assume he was adopted and don't usually say anything, they occasionally just say "oh, he got adopted?" But I've had a couple kids ask me where he is. And I'm like "He's at my house, he's my dog now!" and mentally, I add a "haha, bitches".

I always feel smug like that one kid in elementary school that always knew the right answer and raised his hand like every frikken time.

It's like, hahah I got to reach into the prize bag first and got the BEST IN THERE EVER
