I've never heard one of my Pokémon say anything other than their names. Besides, a Doduo would make a better chocobo than this little one.

I thought that too! Because Aerith said she'd never ridden a chocobo before and I thought maybe we could get her to ride a Doduo and it'd be pretty much the same!

But Nibel kinda looks like one. And I think it'd just be really cute to hear him say 'wark'.

One of my friends has a Doduo- well, he's a Dodrio now. He was even selling eggs earlier; perhaps he'll have more soon. Finding her one should be easy.

[He stares at the Torchic a little harder.] Those feathers on the top of his head do look a little like a chocobo's crest. I wonder if he'd like gysahl greens?

One of the first thing we were taught in Baron was the location of all the chocobo forests in the world. Even artisans who never leave the town know them. That knowledge was extremely useful while we were travelling.

Neither have I, and none of the stores sell them. A pity.

Aah! That is really useful. But I guess it's because Aerith and I never really travel. Papa taught me all about chocobos, though.

It'd be pretty cool if they would.

I was part of the army, so there were training trip, missions... But I was with the airship corps, and we used those more and more as time went.

Some plants from my world can be found easily in Johto, but others only earn me strange looks when I enquire about them in stores. I've never found Whisperweed, either.

Eeh! That's really cool! I wish I got to go out. But Papa think I shouldn't leave Nibelheim because it's too dangerous.

Mm! I asked if they had a Phoenix down but they don't have any. And the potions here are different.

Is it dangerous because of monsters? Politics? Risky terrain?

Their Revives seem to act like Phoenix Downs, but I don't think they work on humans. At least we can use them on Pokémon if the Center is too far.

Um...well we don't like ShinRa so that's some of it. And there are the monsters but I think Papa just wants me to stay in Nibelheim.

That ShinRa could probably be avoided, and you could always fight the monsters... But a father's wish to keep his daughter at home is a much greater obstacle.

Materia? I think Cloud mentioned those once, but I cannot remember what they do.

Mm. But maybe when I get older Papa will let me travel. There are lots of places I'd like to visit!

They let you use magic! I don't have any but Papa told me about them. Some can help you use fire and lightening and some even heal.

Ah, that's right. People cannot use magic by themselves in your world. Cloud could use a few spells during the Conflict, but everyone's abilities were slightly modified at that time.

Um...maybe Costa Del Sol! Or maybe Mideel. Rocket Town isn't too far so maybe there! Oh but it'd be fun to visit Midgar! It's so big.

Mmm! We need materia to use magic. [Well...not Aerith, but she doesn't know that yet.] But I don't have any so I asked Master Zangan to teach me how to fight so that I can travel around with Cloud without being in danger all the time.
