Sticky Friending Post!
Hey guys! Thank you for adding me/stopping by my journal! If you want to add me, go right ahead! Especially if you're a part of the SPN fandom (that's the main reason I'm here)! I will most likely add you back :) Anyway, I've been meaning to do one of these posts for a while. For now, my journal will remain public, so you don't HAVE to comment here to be added, but it would be nice! Especially if we've never talked before! I don't have many people on my f-list right now, mostly because I'm afraid of having too many that I can't keep up with them. I'm afraid of not being a good enough LJ friend to comment/ read so many entries. I will do my best with what I have though, I promise. Also, I'm the kind of person that will only comment if I feel that I have something to add/discuss. I expect you guys will do the same. Thank you.
*My name is Flor, and I'm from Texas. Proud to be from this state, seeing how Jensen and Jared are from here as well. 'Cept I'm from way down south. Summer's are brutal, and Winter would probably be no big deal for most of you that have snow every year. I've only seen it snow once here LOL and it wasn't very much.
*TV shows - I watch a lot of tv, but I don't follow actual tv shows much. Truth is, when I fall in love with just about anything, I go BIG, so I'm usually afraid to try new things out. Supernatural has been a big part of my life for this past year, and it's brought me to you wonderful people, which I am so happy for. I am a HUGE fan of Ghost Hunters / TAPS though - I've been watching it for 5 years now, and I love them so much. I am also watching Dexter, though I've only seen the first 3 seasons as of right now. Other than that, I love watching cartoons (especially the classics and some that were around when I was a kid), and anime - I've been watching anime for for a little over 10 years now, so I am SUPER excited for the Supernatural anime <3 As for my cartoons, anything from Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life, Spongebob, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Family Guy, to name a few. I love watching the Food Network, because I love cooking/baking. Plus any nature show or paranormal show that catches my attention.
*Movies - Oh man. So many. I'll see what I can get down. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings trilogy, PotC, Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man, any Pixar film (I love you Pixar <333), Tangled, Prince of Persia, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Nightmare Before Christmas, Serendipity, Fun with Dick and Jane, Get Smart, Lilo and Stitch, the Lion King (FFF I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH STILL), My Cousin Vinny, Silent Hill, Shaun of the Dead - I know there's more, I might update this later when I slap myself for skipping over an awesome movie.
*Music - rock is my favorite, I'm pretty slow when it comes to new songs for the most part. I like a lot of classic rock too. Oh, and since I speak Spanish, there's some Spanish groups in there as well. Let's see what can come to mind - AC/DC, Black Lab, Lifehouse, Weezer, Paramore, Jason Mraz, Led Zeppelin, Matchbox 20. My Chemical Romance, Muse, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Shinedown, Taylor Swift, 30 Seconds to Mars, Jonas Brothers (yes, shut up LOL I'm not as big on them as I once was, but I still like listening to them every now and then), Fall Out Boy, The Fray, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Sarah McLachlan, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Enanitos Verdes, Shakira (her Spanish stuff mostly, before she went into English, which is mostly EEHH.). I also love soundtracks, from movies and videogames. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorites right now, with Sherlock Holmes, Inception, and PotC. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Lord of the Rings soundtracks.
*Videogames - I'm a female gamer and proud of it! I'm a big fan of Nintendo, especially the DS. It's so fun to play and I love taking it everywhere. Plus it has some of my favorite series on it including Pheonix Wright and Professor Layton (can I have that crossover game now please??!) Some of my other favorites include Smash Bros, the Fatal Frame series <33, Resident Evil 4 (5 is cool too, but 4 owns my heart), Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Mario Golf/Tennis, pretty much any Zelda game (Ocarina of Time is the one that started it all for me though <3), Kingdom Hearts, and Okami.
*My Graphics - I mostly stick to SPN for now. Please do not re-post with out my permission - do not alter my graphics in anyway, or claim them as yours. Thanks!
*Other random facts- I LOVE to draw. I've been doing it as long as I can remember. I mainly draw anime, but I also currently design t-shirts. I also have ideas for different things that I dream of getting published at some point in my life. Working at Pixar is another crazy dream of mine.
