Another thought that occured to me that I hadn't considered was, that Dean was probably planning on giving Sam the keys to the Impala beforehand - since he doesn't really drive it anymore, he probably doesn't carry the keys around for it all the time. If that's true, then ;__;

*edit* I must have been to busy sobbing during the episode, but I missed the fact that Sam actually DID put an arm around Dean when I thought he hadn't! I just noticed it now on one of ckll 's animated icons. I feel like an idiot, but so much better now. *edit again* never mind - guess that bit wasn't actually in the episode *sad face*
