From what I've picked up, the events are based on our memories. And we lose memories because of them, too.

No. But if I can't remember, how would I know I'd lost something, you know? As far as I can tell though, none of the events since I got here have been related to me or my world.

The same here, none have been directly related. Though it makes me think of how the worlds themselves are related.

A lot of them seem to just be slightly alternate versions of earth. But some of the other worlds are radically different, from what I can tell.

I mean, your world and mine are probably pretty similar, and the nations come from a world analogous to them. But there's a guy here whose world has no sun which is just...baffling to me.

A world with no sun? I suppose nothing is impossible. ... The idea of the nations as living beings is also still puzzling to me. But again, nothing unfathomable now.

He arrived just before the last event if that helps. And he's kind of insulting and he threatens to bite people to death all the time.
