Sixteen [Action] Movie Night

Ruby is sitting in the den wrapped up in a super fluffy robe. She's got on pajamas with little devil horns all over the pants and a black tank top. Her hair is pulled up in a pony tail and she's curled up on the couch, swathed in blankets. She's got a plate of french fries, a platter full of brownies and a glass of milk with her. The movie playing

[Elaine heard the movie from outside then den, and, curious, had walked inside. She catches sight of Ruby, which makes her a little nervous for a second, because she honestly does what Ruby to like her. She waits for a pause in the dialogue of the movie before she speaks.]

I like your PJ's.

Ruby glances up at Elaine then down to her pajamas as if to remind herself what she's wearing.

"Thanks. Sort of seemed appropriate."

"It is." She looks back at the movie, and although she doesn't recognize it, she watches idly for a few moments. "What movie is this? It looks old."

[saved_ur_ass]

"Bringing up Baby with Hepburn and Grant," Ruby answers without looking up from the screen. She pops a brownie in her mouth and takes a big swallow of milk. "You can watch it with me if you want."

Elaine takes a few steps closer and sits, not so close as to make her uncomfortable, but enough that conversation is easy. "Thanks." She watches idly again for several minutes, starting to let the movie captivate her. At first the lack of conversation seems a bit awkward, but eventually the movie fills in the gaps, and Elaine watches in silence, with only a remark on the movie every now and then.

Although she does leave at one point and comes back with buttered popcorn and soda, which she offers to share.
