Admin: Saving Numb3rs Information

CBS has officially canceled Numb3rs [ Source]. Maybe this doesn’t come as a surprise to a lot of people, but I know I am incredibly saddened to see the show go. (Quite frankly, I'm in serious denial about the whole thing.) So, to that end, I will only say thank you Numb3rs… for being the best damned TV show on television for 5 wonderful years. so I sent off my letter to Nina today but I'm also planning to send another one tomorrow, although it's not from me lmao, from one of my characters, also sending with that letter three boxes of chalk and i've just spent the past five minutes, and broke my sunglasses in the process, trying to remove some keys of my old keyboard that spell out Numb3rs to send with the chalk and letter lmao. (I was planning on replacing the sunglasses anyway so it doesn't matter bout those).

and as I can't download any episodes from iTunes because the UK one doesn't have any up, can't use netflix, all I can do is go onto imdb.

Over on the CBS boards:
".... Have you also noticed that CBS is not very good at keeping things up to date on the Numb3rs website. They still have the ad for the one about cloning and they have already pulled that from the site. Also, I missed NCIS last night and was able to watch it first thing this morning. With Numb3rs it takes them 4-5 days to download it. They never have been very good at promoting the show either...."

Makes you wonder if they aren't *trying* to make it go under....

They've always been that way with Numb3rs though. Admittedly, they used to be better about getting the episodes up but they've never done much for promoting the show.

In a way I think it's their fault that they're not getting the money they want/need/should if they don't take the time to promote it like they do other shows.

Something else that I've done with the letters I'm sending? Copying them to the local CBS Affiliate Managers/Program Directors. Why? If enough station managers get enough letters THEY can put the pressure on the Main Network to save a show.

In my case, the local CBS Affiliate was the only station available to folks here for about 20+ years, then the local ABC affiliate kicked up their signal. (Gotta love living in the mountains!) Does my CBS Affiliate have any pull with the CBS Big Wigs? Well... who the heck do you think is responsible for getting the Arkansas Razorbakc Football games on CBS? *EG*

So, while you're sending those lovely, nice and polite letters ro President Tassler, drop a note or copy it to the local Manager of the major CBS Affiliate in your area. Spread the love!
