Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
SCRAWNY.
No actually he's not so much scrawny as just...lean. He stands at about 5'7" now according to the latest character info thing as well as...underweight. Truth be told whenever he's shown shirtless he's actually very toned and muscular. But since he wears pants and formal shirts a lot...you don't see it. So he's like that crouching dweeb hidden jock thing going for him.
2. How old is he?
In canon he's 16 at his canon point. In Paradisa he's 20 years old. Unfortunately no one believes him because he looks...sixteen and scrawny.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
GENTLEMEN DO NOT SLOUCH. But nah he doesn't slouch that much (it would detract from his height!), but he doesn't carry himself in a way that really...stands out. Because he does not want to stand out at allll.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
If it wasn't for his powers, his health would be just dandy for a fit guy at the turn of the 20th century. But unfortunately he comes from a canon where having BAMF powers come with a lot of bad breaks. His lifespan is shorter than most people (which considering the average lifespan in 1898 was 47 years for men, this is not a good thing...). He requires high amounts of energy or food to sustain his arm or it will start eating his own body (thus why his weight always flirts with the underweight boundary). When he uses his power for a good length of time, it's a strain on his body too - like he'll start coughing up blood and all that fun stuff.
Oh and he has demonic AIDs. It sucks.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He has clumsy moments every once and awhile, but for the most part he's pretty graceful. He's supposed to be naturally acrobatic.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Honestly if daddy had not scarred up his face or changed his hair color, Allen would have been a very good looking guy. Despite that, he still looks alright. Though because he is disfigured, he is pretty sensitive about his appearance. He wears gloves whenever he can (he even eats in them...) and he changes his hair every couple weeks or so just in hopes he can find a style he doesn't hate - which isn't possible because he is a combo of shallow on his appearance with not a lot of confidence (ah the joys of being forever 16).
But since he apparently looked like Tyki in a past life, he has a potential future B)
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
99% of the time it's pale. The poor boy just doesn't tan. He's also scarred on the left side of his face and has scars on his torso. His left arm is also red and...kinda gross looking really.
But since he's a Noah, whenever he gets hurt by holy stuff, gets super injured in general and/or is completely spent of energy - his skin will turn gray. But he generally does whatever he can to keep a human appearance because he's shallow.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Originally he had brown or auburn hair (anime it's more brown, but the coloring in that is dull and in Hoshino's art it's pretty auburn). but then TRAUMA happened and it's white now unless he dyes it. Texture wise it looks soft! The style changes...literally every few weeks as I mentioned before, but he tends to keep his hair a bit long.
9. What color are his eyes?
Silver-gray most of the time. When his curse is activated, his left eye turns black and red. And if he ever goes into Noah form, his eyes turn yellow.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
SCARS AND A RED ARM.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Probably where he got stabbed.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
It's a wide variety really. Often he wears more formal attire, dress shirt and all. But he's just often seen chilling in t-shirts (only in his home) or in loose fitting clothing. After some time in Paradisa, he's probably really grown fond of wearing jeans and hoodies. He steals his roommates' clothing a lot too, like he did back at the Order. :)
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Fairly so! Ironically he felt the least comfortable in his Exorcist uniform and would only wear it if he had to. But since he just left the Order, he doesn't wear his uniform much at all anymore.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He had a uniform for when he was on the job and wore his other clothes when he wasn't :).
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Commando! Briefs didn't exist back then and his pants are way too tight for
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Like a girrrrrl.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
His normal speaking voice is actually pretty soft, but he can get loud when he's irritated or surprised. He does hesitate a lot and stutter some, mostly out of habit.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He says "Ah, Um" and stuff like that a lot. He also has a British accent that's probably more on the country side B)
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English- Fluent. he can also write in a special code.
And since he travels around a lot I imagine he speaks languages such as French, German, Arabic, Swahili and Hindi at least well enough to get by traveling. Considering he goes from being illiterate to being literate in two languages within a couple years? He's good at languages.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
I would imagine when he travels he switches to whatever is the local language.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Strangely the less he thinks about it, the better he is at speaking. Some of his best speeches are done at the spur of the moment. Meanwhile if he thinks about it he gets awkward and special.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
If he is talking about his Master, he is nonsensical. He also says things sometimes that really confuses people. Besides that he gets what he is saying across.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Very street-smart, definitely. He is honestly a pretty bright kid and probably would've been a straight A student that would do something intensive like be a doctor...had he ever had the chance to go to school. Pile of wasted potential man.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He's a bit of both really. Usually things work out better if he takes time to think though.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Um...all four, it really depends on the situation. He's more logical and practical with things like money, traveling, jobs. Even a large part of his decision was based on practicality - it's easier to find Akuma if I join the Order. Though he's also more intuitive and idealistic when it comes to stuff like saving EVERYTHING and his morals.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Mana and Cross tutored him. Besides that? Zilch.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Exorcism and poker B) And if he had to pick something outside of those fields, it'd probably be medicine. His dream normal profession would be a doctor since he could save people that way.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
INTROVERT.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He tends to be pretty cheerful about stuff, but there's definitely some melancholy that influences it so he'll never be as upbeat as people like Sora. He tries to be calm most of the time, but honestly he gets irritated easily. And he is very driven.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Nervous. But after that initial part he does alright.

React!!

Fight.

It's a weird sense of humor, really. He will often try to tell jokes or pull stunts that he thinks are funny...but no one else does (I'M A HUMAN CLOCK!!!). He laughs easily at stuff, even slightly mean spirited stuff unless it's...severally harsh. But teasing he's fine with.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Yep, he has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He deals with it by...not dealing. The mental health field was not the greatest back then. He will often just do things to avoid the triggers, like not go near alcohol or eat meat.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Getting adopted, Mana dying/getting cursed, meeting Cross and becoming an exorcist and all that canon event stuff. Don't make me repeat everything plz.
14. What does he fear?
A few things! He's scared of losing to the 14th and hurting the people he cares about. He's scared of not being able to defeat the Earl and all of humanity being wiped out. His Master scares him too as well as death, but both of those he's willing to face if necessary. Robots freak him out after knowing Komui. And he is also scared of lions or other big cats, which sounds silly but...getting locked into a cage so you'd get eaten by a lion at the age of 7 tends to cause phobias man.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He wants to save the world! Save humanity as well as save all the souls trapped by Akuma. Oh and live.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
More than the 14th? I'd say his childhood. He doesn't want people to know that his real name is actually Red Arm and not Allen Walker, or the level of abuse he experienced growing up. He also would never want to reveal that Mana was actually insane and he probably spent a good chunk of his time taking care of the guy- oh and he mistook him for the fucking dog.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
His biological parents? Uh they sold him, so absolute hate.
Mana is complicated. So so complicated.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
No siblings! Which makes him sad because he always wanted them :C In Para he actually internally got a little bit excited about Robin and thought maybe there was a chance he had a sister...but she was not so much on board with that so he kept that childish hope to himself.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Not...really. If you count the Noah clan, they fit under the ones he can't stand.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
There would be Mana, who is his adoptive father.
As for in Paradisa, it's Teresa who he sees a lot like a mother and less vocally Crowley who is like a dad and/or uncle to him. Clare and Nill are siblings :)
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Canonically it's probably Lavi and Lenalee, with Lavi being slightly more in the lead because Allen is more comfortable around guys than he is girls (not that girls make him panic or that anime cliche, he just doesn't have to be as gentlemanly!). He met Lenalee when she stopped Kanda from stabbing him (where were you 200 chapters later Lenalee...) and he met Lavi while he was recovering losing his eye thanks to Road.
In Paradisa besides Lavi, his most definite best friend (as in, they would actually use the term) would be Naruto. I can't remember...exactly how they met but they were neighbors to one another and had a beautiful bromance. Zuko was also their bro and they had a wonderful BROT3. But they were sent home and...forgot his existence ahaha. As for the characters that in Paradisa right now: Jr and Arthur are probably his closest bros - which makes him SO depressed the asshats can't get along. He met Arthur when he was trying to speak to Merlin about being new to Paradisa, and Arthur threadjacked and was a prat. I...don't remember how Jr and Allen met. GOD I SUCK.
6. Does he have other close friends?
A few! Ino, Halloween, Uru and Sora are the ones that definitely pop into my head. Sora probably would have even made it to BEST FRIEND STATUS, but since the summer they have been busy with their own stuff.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
It depends! He's someone that people like easily since he's nice and thinks about other people. However that's only really on the shallow, friendly acquaintance level. If you ever get him to open up more about his life and his viewpoints...he sometimes hits walls and pisses off people, hahahaha.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Friends that he considers family are the most important to him! But friends are super important. He does not consider blood to be important at allll considering uh, look at his family for reals.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He is dating Arthur at the moment. And no, he's never been married.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Yep, Arthur. They have been dating since December (a few weeks before Allen turned 20).
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
His first crush was probably some cute hooker that cooked dinner for him while he was waiting for his Master.
But BESIDES that puppy love, on the book his first serious crush was Lenalee and he did date her for awhile! But eventually for a number of reasons they fizzled out and are just purely friends. There were some more shallow crushes after that (Katara, Hikaru, Ino...which ended in the world's worst date for both ends). On the guy end, I'm gonna take a risk and say he's had a bit of a crush on Kanda and maybe Naruto in the past (except that one was probably never realized, but god it'd explain why he'd get so emotional over shit). But right now he's just into Arthur. In summary, Allen likes cute Asian girls, guys who look like Asian girls or blond guys.
See this is the fun of having a character that is forever physically 16, crushes everywhere.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
If they can cook, that is an instant plus. Arthur picks him up take out a lot, so this helps makes up for that, but I'm sure he has a dream of Arthur regularly cooking him meals *A*. It's a dream he'll never say since it would get him smacked.
But rofl besides that...Allen really likes people who aren't yes men. If you want Allen to really see you, you have to tell him off when he's being a dick or selfish or just a brat. And not being a nagging person who tries to change everything about him because he's not a huge fan of arrogance, but someone who is honestly not afraid to tell him when he's not being a good person. Nearly all his crushes would do that in some way. Because he feels like he can relax around them more and be himself, because they actually recognize him for who he is. :)
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Unless you count the daughter that the castle made the first year, no children. He would love to find Anita one day (the name of the kid) but...no he doesn't want kids. He's mentally too young for that and has too many fears about himself to be into that yet. Five, ten years down the line if he's still alive? Maybe he'll change his mind.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
The Millennium Earl is his enemy. And that ass hat that invented fun size bars. THERE IS NOTHING FUN ABOUT THEM MISTER WHO ARE YOU SCAMMING >O I think if Allen could go back with his memories, that would be the one selfish thing he would try to prevent.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
2 or 3. Allen...honestly does not give a shit about gender when it comes to who he likes (he certainly has differences in how he treats each gender because of his time period, but not when it comes to crushes). He probably would never label himself as gay, because he does like girls too and still does. He did not pull a Willow and "turn gay" (a plot development that will always irk me a littleeee as much as I loved Willow/Tara). If something were to happen and he was no longer with Arthur, if he choose to get into another relationship it could be with either gender.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Complicated question!!
On one hand, the kid is still a virgin. And therefore the idea of sex kinda scares him a good deal, and that fear got a bit heightened since Ino, his peer, revealed that she's TOTALLY having sex and that they are now at an age where it's perfectly normal. So he's feeling that bit of pressure that he's expected to have sex with Arthur in the not-too-distant future and he's not entirely sure he's ready for that leap into adulthood. Which all in all is kinda hilarious since Arthur isn't pressuring him at all and is more prudish about sex than he is sdkljsdkjf.
But on the other hand, the kid was also raised by Cross and probably spent a large chunk of his childhood hanging around prostitutes. So I don't think he's on the mindset of YOU HAVE TO BE MARRIED TO HAVE SEX OR YOU ARE EVIL, because no. it don't work that way to him. Though due to his issues about being vulnerable (which is why he has emotional walls up CONSTANTLY), I don't think he could ever do casual sex. I think he would only want to have sex with someone he was in a stable and secure relationship with. He doesn't condemn people who consensually sleep around, but it's definitely not for him.
And another thing is since he's from a time where there was anything in the way of effective birth control, he'd probably never agree to have sex with a girl until after the war is over. Just because the risk of pregnancy is so great and the last thing he wants to do is abandon a kid, which might be inevitable with his life right now.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Pretty much anything where he thinks he's putting the person he is with in danger is a turn off for him, but at the same time being able to relax and be himself? Huge turn on. Also food.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
If he's right about his age, he'd be born in 1882 which is a horse. Since most of those personality treats sound like the complete OPPOSITE of him, I'm willing to guess he miscalculated his age a year or two. I have no effing idea what his western zodiac sign is since the birthday he has is simply his day of adoption.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He's religious because he has to be, quite literally. He admitted he doesn't care about God, and while he's catholic he certainly doesn't follow the doctrine much - but he's also chosen by God so he has to be at least a little religious. And it's very important to him since its his job.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Don't give up, help those in need and don't harm innocent people for your own gain. He got the first one from his father, the second probably derived from his shitty shitty childhood and the fact he doesn't want people to have to endure what he did and the last one is...yeah once again, his shitty childhood. And I honestly don't...know what it would take to compromise it. he's gone through a lot of shit in canon and has yet to break it.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
As long as you don't hurt people, you could worship the noodle monster for all he cares. He's probably pretty curious though, since he's curious about everything under the sun.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
In canon he admits to being prejudice against demons or those who choose to become demons. Which...is fair considering the state of his world right now. Though over his years in Paradisa, this has cooled down a lot since getting to know good demons.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
AHAHAHA DEEP IN DEBT.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He was a slave pretty much until Mana adopted him, and then he was still pretty bottom rung. When he became an exorcist he suddenly had status, and it would weird him out that he'd get stuff like private rooms on the train (though he totally dug it) - but it never really got to his head. And now as of recent canon, he is a fugitive. Fun. Times.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
In canon he lived at the Order headquarters, except now he can't do that anymore and he's homeless again.
In Paradisa he lives in a house that used to belong to Guts in the city. He shares with with Lavi and Arthur, sometimes other people too. The house is probably...a bit messy because none of them are neat freaks, but he probably tries to keep it in good shape too. :) So just lots of clutter, but no real serious mess.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
NO FOOD REALLY? Well then if he's not paying off debts...poker, movies, music, video games...stuff for Timcanpy or stuff he thinks his roommates might like. He really isn't that much of a spender.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
His main job and aspiration is being an Exorcist. He was actually really good at it, and considered to be the person who synchronized the best with his Innocence. But since his bosses are horrible dicks, he got himself fired.
In Paradisa he is a Host at the Host Club and works at the candy store. He doesn't really mind these jobs (unless Sister is in any part of this), but they aren't exactly his dream jobs either. Which btw, he got fired from.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He loves playing cards. It reminds him of happy days with his Master. he also really digs movies and video games. Especially horror movies and video games. Zombieeees
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Eats a lot. I mean can feed ten people with what he eats a lot. He is also a vegetarian after the Berserk plot and doesn't touch alcohol :)
