Also? I got engaged on Christmas Eve. Seems like should have gone first. He said he did it then because I would have been expecting it on Christmas Day. He proposed to me in my underwear and grabbed the wrong hand first. It was cute. He wants to get married right away at a courthouse and then he says we can have an actual wedding later on. But I want to wait a while. We've only been going out for five months. Getting engaged and living together is a big enough step for now, I think.
I have to have surgery on a disc in my neck in January. They go in through the front of my neck and put a cage and a plate where the disc is. It sounds horrible and it kind of is but the scar won't even be that noticeable and I know someone who's had basically the same surgery and I've never even noticed the scar. He said that he had his surgery less than a year ago and now he feels perfectly fine. I can't drive for two weeks after and I have to be out of work for a month. I freak out every couple of days over it but hopefully it'll all turn out fine.
