Laboratory was designed by renowned architect Stanford White for his friend Nikola Tesla, the
inventor and developer of radio, alternating current generation, remote control, robotics, neon light-
ing, and much more. It is a place of national historic significance and should be preserved. The National Trust for Historic Preservation
has asked people across America to identify places that are important. They want photographs of people near the places that matter. The
Wardenclyffe site is an excellent example of a significant place that should be protected.
You: Be part of the “This Place Matters” group photograph for inclusion on the website of the National Trust for Historic Pres-
ervation. Learn about the importance of the Wardenclyffe site. Find out how you can help to save this treasure in the Shoreham commu-
nity.
Come to support the preservation of this significant place! Let the world know that “This Place Matters!”
