I drove a car!
Today was so much fun. We bought coffee at Mary Lou's and then traveled to Atlantic Bagel for, what else?, bagels. The man was disgruntled, probably because of the earliness. Then we went to some park and sat by a pond and there were dogs. We went to Minot and walked on the sea wall and the tide was so high I was a little afraid that we might all be swept away. We went driving in a parking lot and I wasn't that bad, considering it was my first time. I might have killed someone if I had been on a road, though. And we went to Wamp for a very brief walk and then had to get home so Kdu could head off to Boston with her mother. And then I went to Mara's house and we made this amazing cake for the party in Latin tomorrow. It's great. It has Baucis and Philemon as trees on it and it says "Party hearty" in Latin. Actually it says "Let us go Greek." Which is even better than the rougher translation, I think. And now I am trying to write my Hamlet essay, but I'm bad at concentrating right now. I did so much today. There was a lot of hiking involved, now that I think about it. Tomorrow will be fun since it's the last day before vacation and I don't even have to work on Saturday! Huzzah!
