You're my yuletide writer?! I'm so happily shocked! I had no idea!

I can't possibly tell you how delighted I was to receive this story as a gift. I've read it a dozen times already, marveling at how well my writer understands the characters.

I'm just so, so pleased. If I say any more, I'll embarrass myself.

Thank you so much!

Edit: nyteflyer? You're a crafty devil!

Haha. I love the userpic, btw.

I was super nervous when you were assigned to me . . . it's hard to write for a writer! I watched the movie like 3 times to get in the groove, and definitely needed Nyteflyer (who is quite crafty) for the beta and moral support.

I'm really glad you liked it!

I loved it! Seriously!

Last year, I wrote for one of my flisters, a sweet, gentle sort who wanted a sweet, gentle, slightly spicy Raffles story. I agonized over that story and drove my beta insane with all my questions and insecurities.

I drove myself nuts this year, too, but writing for a stranger was actually a bit easier.

I just read the story again. *Sigh* You're a wonderful writer.

There's a movie with Chad Allen and Robert Gant?!? Thanks for pulling me out of the rock that I've been living under. This was a beautiful story even though I haven't seen this movie.

Hehe. It's on netflix instant if you have that :)

Oh, and you should also see Shelter. I've been very unfaithful to my first love :P

You already know I think this is a lovely piece, but I'll say it again -- this is a lovely piece! You understand the characters well and handle the dynamics of their relationship beautifully. Here's hoping there'll be more Save Me fic from you in the future!

I remember reading this when storyfan recced it as her Yuletide fic. It's absolutely amazing, and it makes me wish I'd put up a request just in case you'd filled it.
