Its been nearly a full year since all of you got together, and raised the money to save my place. It took all this time to finally get Bank of America to approve my mortgage restructure, and now, finally, it has all been done. You guys did more than to help get a house out of foreclosure. You gave me the hope i needed to fight through the recession, and to keep my business open, stay on my land, and to make sure that I did not have to uproot Abraham during the last months of his life. Now, Abraham is buried by the creek, and I know i can always go back to visit his grave.
I have decided to use live journal as the blog for my business, which is now doing much better than it was a year ago. As my business grows and becomes more successful, you can be assured that I will pay forward the generosity that all of you showed me.
The Last Saturday Parties have returned as of three months ago. While the August and September party started out small, the October Halloween party was over the top, thanks to the contributions of many. Our semi professional electronic DJs did a fantastic job, and the lazer show was incredible. In addition Matt and his fire spinning troup added another fantastic element to the night that no LSP has had in the past. Its gonna be hard to top this one, but we will figure out a way! The parties are done for this season, but we are aiming for a full 8 party season next year, starting the Last Saturday of March. I hope that those of you that helped make it possible for these parties to continue will make a point to come out to one next year.
