Auction: Two hours of editing.
I don't know Dave - I am just a well-wisher.
We have many awesome creative things here. I'm creative, too, but I thought I'd offer up something a little different.
This auction is for up to two (2) hours of editing anything. I will read your short story and offer you notes and feedback, not just, "I liked it." I will edit your final paper for college. I will help you polish your resume. I will make your website's text sparkle. I'll un-dangle your participles and whip your subordinate clauses into shape.
Why am I qualified to do this? I have a master's degree in professional writing and four years of hands-on editing experience for academe, entertainment properties, technical disciplines, and other various and sundry works.
Please note that two hours for me roughly translates to about 50-75 250-word pages (which is approximately double-spaced), because I read very quickly. If you have something longer that needs an editor's loving caress, that's not entirely out of the question. However, this isn't enough time for editing a doctoral thesis or a complete novel.
My normal freelance rates begin at $30 per hour. I'll start the bidding at $10. This auction closes on October 31, 2009 at midnight EST.
