dave phone home...
holy god i have not updated this thing in the longest time. i just got home from a month long tour. A Jealousy Issue owns your fucking town. damn, where do i begin??? let me back things up to before going on tour...i got my car back like 3 months after it was stolen, they fixed everything, and runs smoother then a babys behind...they replaced my gauge cluster, which means the miles on my car got rolled back to zeroooo! woohaa.
let me get to the tour part of this update.
well we left july 6th. said goodbye to our families, girlfriends and friends to embark on an amazing journey. we packed a dave bean and a jasper with us. so the first part of tour was the east coast. we met so many awesome people, and hung out at a bunch of awesome places. and the first week, we were going to shoot down to texas, but the show got cancled so we decided to go to new orleans for a couple days before we headed out west. good fuckin lawd that place is insane, i havent seen so many drunk people in one place. people are fuckin nuts there, if you seen the girls gone wild videos of mardi gras, that is what it is like every fuckin night of the week. after new orlens we headed to cali. took like 35 fuckin hours to get there, texas took foreverrrr to drive through. we passed through arizona also, and let me warn you, dont ever go there, it is the hottest place i have ever been to. seriously, it was like 10 at night and it was about 110 degrees out. put your head in the oven and you can simulate a visit to arizona. after getting through arizona, we were close to our destination, san diego. we finally got there, and it was the most awesome place i ever been too. such a beautiful city, with so much to do. and the beaches there blow away anywhere else i been too (except the bahamas) the people there are cool too. san diego is definately my favorite place now. in san diego is where we had our first show with the band we where going to be touring with for the next 2 weeks. a fall farewell. they rocked the spot. from san diego we went to las vegas, nevada. that place is fucking awesome also. good thing i didnt have more money with me, because i probably would have gambled it away. first thing me and chris did was hit up the black jack tables. then we headed out to the show. and after the show me and chris went back to the black jack tables. we have a gambling problem. i was happy to get out of vegas with the shirt on my back. after vegas we headed back to cali. we visited los angelas. oh my that place made me feel so dirty. you can see the cloud of smog over the city at all times. it is absolutely disgusting. at night the sky is all bright from the light reflecting off the smog, i shit you not. we played some more shows in cali, then went even further to the northwest. played in seatle. i dont really have anything else to talk about the placed we went, the only places that really stick out in my mind was san diego, las vegas, and los angelas. wyoming and washington were pretty cool also.
i missed everyone while we were gone. i missed my girlfriend so much. i missed my mom. i missed my friends. and i missed my home. it feels good to be back, but it was so fun being gone. the kids in a fall farewell where a fuckin blast to hang out with. we all got along really well. it sucked having to say goodbye to everyone. there roadies name was richard simmons. seriously. it was hilarious. that kid kept me laughing the whole time we were with them.
all in all, tour was a damn good time. at least this summer i did something productive. i cant wait to hang out with everyone. summer is almost over and everyone will be leaving soon to go back to school.
sorry josh, i could not get a fordirelifesake shirt for you cuz we showed up to that show way late, and they had already packed up there shit.
i dont even know if any of this makes sense, i just threw some random thoughts together.
