i'm starting to get annoyed with the whole live journal concept...but yet i keep writing in mine! why is that haha. some times they are used just to directly and indirectly hurt others feelings (to make them become known of something they did wrong or how they made someone feel)...and it just seems a little wrong to me. but like i said, i continue to write in mine...so can i really say anything? haha. one day i will discontinue the use of this here "live to the public journal"...but until then, i'll use it to brag on my friends, brag on God and just vent on the random, fun and sometimes hectic events goin on in my life. so just bare w/me:)
last night i went w/ some friends to a cookout on the outskirts of habersham. it was actually more towards cleveland...but who's counting;) it was really really fun! brandon cooked us stakes on the grill...and we had salad and bread and all that jazz. i think we definatly all worked off what we ate just by laughing. The dog fell in love with amanda...and that was just too darn cute. i wish i'd had my camera. afterwards we attempted to watch "anchor man"...and whoever said taht was a great and funny movie was so wrong (it was like napoleon, but 10 times worse lol). non of us could sit thru it it was so horrible...so we watched Hitch instead. pretty good movie. didn't get back until about 2am...so i've been feeling that all day lol.
today some of us went to play in the river off of casteleberry road. its right off of aroria (sp?) road, and its just plain beautiful! there are a lot of rocks, and a rope swing, and the river all surrounded by trees! i met a lot of cool people while we were there...skipped rocks with a man and his son...played with another man's labrador retriever...then we met this amazing person named Neville. She is doing her postback for teaching at ngcsu and was just there for the day to chill. we all decided to float down the river to the rope swing and play on it. i decided it was a lot more fun if you shimmy up the side the tree (which is kinda of leaning over the river) and swiming off from there! it was amazing! i hope we get to hang out w/her again soon...its nice to have met such a laid back person, around ur age, who loves the outdoors!
i must give props to shannon payne. little miss shannon climbed that tree (w/ a little help from neville)...she held onto that rope...and she swung into the river! it was awesome:) i was so proud! she diserves a bravery award or somethin.
tomorrow i am meeting my mom at St. Gabriels (where she works) and attending a church service w/her there. then we are helping them paint the church walls! i'm actually excited about it...because a)its messy, b)i get to spend time w/my mom, and c)its messy! haha
school is still a little stressful, and i'm already struggling in some of my classes...but this is how every semester starts, so i just need to breathe and realize it'll be aight! psychology is a tough major, but i've been succcessful this far...i can't give up on myself now. i need to just keep my future in my mind...the fact that i could one day be counseling people, whatever kind of counseling i decide on. God will bless whatever i do! i'm sure of that:)
well, i'm exausted and starved, so i think pizza is a must right now....or i might fall down and die. no not really...but i am really hungry! have an A-mazing week...holla!
