But Julia gave me a flower.

So i guess it evens out.

Ch-Ch-Changes
Critics have been debating the topic of my screen name for many years now. There are many theories. The most common one is that my middle name is Kasey. My favorite is that the screen name is ironic because it symbolizes nothing, yet I am not shallow.. so the art is in the disassociation of the two.
(I HAVE A POINT TO ALL THIS -I PROMISE)

When I was in fourth grade my father asked me what I wanted my account name to be on AOL. I chose kasey274. There is absolutely no symbolism in this whatsoever. There was a girl in the grade higher than me with the name Kasey and I really liked it. The numbers stand for nothing.

Many times in school, I witnessed students wondering if they were over-analyzing poetry or prose, especially for IB.  I never thought we were.  When you are working with writers such as Hemingway and Eliot, so much more is hidden than can possibly be unveiled in a week of studying. And the thing is, that even if you uncover something the author did not intend, it can still lead to truth.
(MY POINT IS ABOUT TO BE MADE)

For example, honestly, I know I am a shallow person at times, but I'd like to think that, overall, I care more for "matter than art." Therefore, if the conclusion was made that my screen name was made out of irony, then the critic has unveiled the truth of character through a portal not even the author thought to create.  Doesn't that make the critic stronger than the writer? And if not stronger, does it not give them a sense of power over the art of literature?

Man. I really, really love Mrs. Mott.

----------Anywho, what brought on this passage is that i will no longer be using that aim.  Some of you know my other aim, and those of you who don't here it is: hanahazukashi
We can get into discussions over the symbolism of that one later. Ha. And most of you already email me at hanahazukashi@gmail.com, but for those of you who use my @aol one, no more! I use Mozilla all the time and find it.... nicer. :)

Hey, good luck guys.

P.S. I hate it when I find a song I really like and then look up more songs by the artist and they, for some reason, do not enchant me like the other did.
