Updates from the frozen wastes
Dear SF people,
Stop posting LJ entries that show much fun it is to live there.
I really don't mean that. But I could sure use a little of that surreal magic that I've only found in the bay area.
Updates:
Emily and I are getting along great, she's amazing.
I'm considering getting a kitten or a rabbit. I'm leaning toward kitten.
My job is an odd mix. I'm a project manager one day, and then the guy doing really dirty crappy jobs the next. But hey, they are paying me well and I'm employed. And sometimes I kind of like putting on my IPod and doing something mindless for a few hours.
I'm really enjoying visiting my family and reconnecting there a weekend a month.
I've got some new odd hobbies to keep me out of trouble. (Or maybe get me into trouble, I can't tell which.)
The frozen butt hole of the Midwest will soon thaw, and I expect that this city will become a lot more enjoyable once I can step outside without swearing like a sailor.
