A Weather Post
I'm very thankful that the end of today is proving to be overcast with rain in the mountains. It will make my house a much more pleasant place to be.
Last night, I could sleep. I finally decided to try at 12:30 a.m. At that point, it was still 86 degrees in the house! It was over 90 when I had gotten home.
We have an air conditioner in our fireplace. Yes, our fireplace. You can do that so the exhaust goes out the chimney. Same idea as sticking it in a window. But it is so tiny, it is practically worthless. Then we have an air conditioner in the guest room (now Ninja's room). During the day she has the door open and we have a fan blowing from her room into our room to circulate the air conditioner, but at night she closes her door. D: We can't put an air conditioner in our window because of the types of windows we have. And the screen is one huge screen for each window.
I wish I was independently wealthy so I could get central air. I refuse to go into debt over anything else.
I suppose I could trust Dave to cut a hole in the wall of our room to put an air conditioner in, I'm just scared it won't turn out well.
