One of many year-in-review posts

Dec 18, 2007 09:17

I had a pretty boring year according to this:

Take the first sentence (or 2) from the first post of each month of 2007. That's your year in review.

JANUARY: Danny walked his typical path through the blackjack tables looking for card counters, teams, or any other type of cheating he had encounted in the casino.

FEBRUARY: House: We got it!!! We got our house! We aren't paying one cent of closing costs and will be closing on February 26th!

MARCH: N/A

APRIL: Church: I haven't been yet. It has been so incredibly easy to just not go.

MAY: So, I'm sick again. I hate getting sick.

JUNE: Dave is on paid administrative leave. Bogus accusations.

JULY: Melanie could not stand it anymore. She'd wanted to be out in the mountains, feeling calm and at peace, but being there was anything but.

AUGUST: So, I didn't get a teaching job. I thought I'd be stressed about that, but I'm not.

SEPTEMBER: Work is the same-old, same-old. Not much to talk about there. I'm considering quitting right before the holidays since I know that they probably won't give me time off to go home.

OCTOBER: I haven't been on very many vacations. Ok...I can count two that actually count as vacations, not visiting family, or something I did on a long weekend.

NOVEMBER: So, I broke down and bought a used ipod shuffle on Monday. With the filing they've had me doing, I needed some music with me to make the time fly.

DECEMBER: 1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I use wrapping paper, but if I were rich, I'd do bags because they are easier and can be reused for years to come.
