Oh, we finally settled on a name...
Akasha Rose
Akasha coming from the hindi and sanskrit meanings, being sky/air and one of the elements of life.
Not from Ann Rice(which we found out after we had put the name on the list...)
Not from DoTA, no matter how much my wife says I like video games :)
The birth experience was surreal for me, the midwife was so hands off, my whole job was just to sit in the tub with Lisa and be a rock for her. I was doing a lot of visualizing and deep breathing. Labor seemed to go by so fast and suddenly I was catching her on the last push. I think the entire thing the midwife said during the entire active labor was right at the end when she asked Lisa for one more little push.
So far she's done what all babies do at this age... not much :)
