i don't think there is anything wrong with calling love 'conditional'-- it is true, but conditional isn't necessarily 'bad' or 'less' than unconditional-- although simply because i don't believe unconditional love exists. not forgiving a cheat, not staying with a boyfriend who gets into an accident and becomes a vegetable, not staying with a girlfriend who gets a stroke and is paralyzed and becomes bitter etc etc-- it just means not being able to love a person because the are not the same original being they thought they were. i don't think that is unreasonable. i guess my contention is less about the 'judging' of love but the standards by which we judge this by
