thought I'd give it a shot!
I thought I'd try writing something and this is what I came up with. I'm surprised it actually makes sense... well, it does to me and really, that's all that matters, right? Right?

Water flows without feeling. It is steady and never falters. Such is he.
Fire burns with a purpose, but without a plan. It is violent and can waver. Such is she.
At odds at almost every point they stand, neither gives way. They watch and wait, choosing to get close, only to destroy each other.
Thus, they stay away and stand far apart. The longing in him, the passion racing inside of her, but they cannot change who they are. So they only watch and wait. Hoping one can change, but knowing water and fire never do. And never will.
