This is going out to all the mother's on this very special day where we celebrate just how wonderful mothers are!
Mom, I was going to get you flowers today but I figured that you had enough of those and so I've come up empty handed. I lied to Nonnie and said I got you flowers because I didn't want to hear her yell at me. I'm sorry that I didn't get you anything not even a card. It wasn't because I didn't want to. I wanted to so badly. I'm even resentful towards Jenny and Dan for getting you flowers because that was MY idea. Of course they didn't know that. So basically this an apology and a card all in one:
I know I can be a bitch and a total jerk of a daughter but I try really hard to make you proud of me and to make the right choices and try to make you happy. I wish that I could do something or give you something to repay you for every sacrifice and everything you've done for me. So I'm sorry and thank you for being there, being so understanding... just for everything you've done and given to me through genetics or just teaching me to be a good honest person.
Right now, all I can give you is love. I love you Mom and I only hope that when I have kids of my own, that I can be as awesome as you are. Everyone wishes that they don't turn into their parents but I wish so much that I can be as wonderful as a mother as you are.
