Not quite as planned.
Okay so... I'm really disappointed.
The Plunge people told my boss when she did the final register yesterday that our team would be plunging at 7:30. So we got there at 6:45, changed into our gear, and walked out towards the water- just in time to hear, "AND THAT'S IT FOLKS, THE POLAR PLUNGE IS OVER!! YAY!" and get stampeded by people leaving.
That's right, they told us the wrong time! We marched off to have a word with the administration, and they just gave us some cruddy excuse about times getting mixed up yadda yadda.
So we didn't get to go. :( I was all psyched up to plunge too!!
