Beautiful Blue Monday.

Realization of the Day: I have an imprinted distrust for community and clique type communications and interactions. Probably stems from me dragging myself through adolescence as a misfit loner. However despite my tenacious tries to sabotage myself in this current community I've reached out to....I believe I am doing very well. I have made some very healthy, enlightening connections with people. I have faith that once I become comfortable...my claws will recede and I will be able to perceive how people present themselves with much more open-mindedness than my current rather cynnically bitter and ignorant state.
Thank you all for your patience and input. I have not taken for granted how you've contributed to my growing understanding of others.

(This blossom has already begun to start blooming.)

And its for you.

I had a fantastic week. So I am blatantly going to brag about it here. To remind myself how lucky I am to have people like this in my life.

Monday: There was abduction, seduction, pineapple cake, a viciously bound up Harp torqued into the Limbo of Agony.  And I discovered Astro-turf should be more appropriately titled "Abrasive-Turf." Definitely sated this muse of masochism.
Wednesday: THE DUDE ABIDES bowling league, dude. It was great to hang out with my roommates whom have conflicting schedules with me. These dear friends of mine have been with me for awhile and are always happy to remind me who I am. And that I need to cut loose once in awhile. I bowled a decent game too.
Thursday: I went to the Inferno to watch the Peach Pies perform. Had the surprise of catching up with some familiar faces and fantastic people. Peach Pie show was surprisingly good. And I did some plotting with Inferno's princely door-man. I am very happy that I live a short 15 minute walk from that place.
Oh and I dallied with Billy. Unexpected. But quite rewarding.
Friday: I worked late, but got to watch "Bug" and connect with a very close friend whom I've been neglecting. I need to learn to repair that lest my interactions with him limit to 3 am cell phone convos. I'm a much brighter person in the earlier hours.
Saturday: I MISSED OUT ON THE PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY! But I will find time to carve my pumpkin later...and it is glow-wine season! I also got cordially invited to my favorite play party this year. It was so warm and friendly and low key, I felt very comfortable there. And Billy was a wonderful delight. We all know he doesn't care about expensive things like cashmere coats or diamond rings...but I was happily surprised he had such an apt knack for turning his playdates into pet toys and seasonal decorations. I need to sharpen up on my grappling skills. I did meet the most sadistic looking frozen paddle ever. That was... chilling.
Sunday: I went to Assemblage 23 concert. I got to see two gorgeous friends of mine. As well as chat up with Big Bald Men, and drool over the sexiest Human Bug Zapper ever. However, I also realized that goth industrial concerts may not be in my taste for live entertainment. Sensuous Enemy would have rocked my stockings off....if I was wearing them. But the main act...well..I guess I can't be too enamored by watching a performance with so little instruments, no eye candy, and far too often singing off-key in Minor. I will stick to just dancing around in my underwear in my bedroom to it from now on I think.

And TODAY! Today I am volunteering at Briarpatch which can be challenging but it always rewarding. Later I will have fun building a forest with a favorite friend of mine. And hopefully a few more will join us. And I plan to watch Titus to get all psyched up for what I'm going to be on Halloween. Here's a hint: She'd have a hard time typing this much on here....she has no hands.

Oh and...*pulls out sack sticking her hand in* I was gonna name-drop here but..*fingers through a hole in the bottom* Apparently I accidentally dropped them somewhere else...So if you see a few bright blue little LJ usernames along E. Washington Ave. Please let me know, I dearly miss them.
